Joining ShoreFox

Affiliate marketing is a performance-based marketing in which ShoreFox rewards you as an affiliate for each customer brought to our website. In easy words: When someone which reached our web site by a link on your web site books with us, you get a commission.
Everybody who runs a website can refer customers to us and act as an affiliate. Obviously it makes sense that the themes on your web presence are somehow close to travel and/or cruising. Though when you run a web site as a Travel Agent, you are a travel or cruise blogger, you operate an internet travel/destination guide, run a cruise selling platform or a cruise forum you are a good fit for a win-win relationship with ShoreFox.
It's easy! Send us a mail at with a link to your business. We'll get in touch with you to discuss the integration options. Then we hand it over on our side to the tech team. They will provide the building blocks and also serve as support for the integration on your side.
No, ShoreFox is not part of any other affiliate marketing network.


No, there aren't any costs for affiliates.
When you direct traffic to the ShoreFox site and people book a shore excursion, we will credit you with a commission per booking – which is called "pay per sales" as a compensation method. We will track your earned commission in an affiliate portal.

ShoreFox works to keep financial transaction fees as low as possible, so that we can provide the best value to our partner. As international money transfers across currencies can be expensive, we work with PayPal as our financial transaction partner. At the end of every month, we will transfer your earned commission to your PayPal account where you can transfer it to any bank account of your choice without further costs.

PayPal is the world's biggest money transfer provider in the internet. If you don't have an account, you will get an email on how to set up your PayPal account with your first payment.


There is no easy answer to this question. That's why we need to get in touch to discuss the options. As a rule of thumb you can say it depends on the traffic of your site and how technology savvy your team is.

A good start for a discussion is the following:

  • Blogs, travel communities, destination portals, travel agencies: Widgets, Links, Banner
  • Travel agencies, and other transaction sites: Post-booking and pre-trip email referral
  • Bigger cruise booking portals or forums: API integration

This answer again depends on the technology environment and your ambitions. We'll discuss a business case based on the number of unique visitors per month of your website.

Again as a rule of thumb, we can give you the following orientation:

  • Widgets, Links, Banner: 1 hour; and even possible with only limited tech skills
  • Referral: a few minutes, regularly, to enter your client's email addresses
  • API integrations: here we can't give a valid estimation but usually when you think in that dimension, you have a skilled tech team on your side we work with

In the lesser technology driven integration you'll get a partner ID in the set-up process. This ID is in a tracking cookie attached to all the traffic you send to ShoreFox. When someone with your ID is booking an excursion you receive your commission. The lifespan of this cookie is 31 days which is considered industry standard.

Also an option for booking/transaction sites is the tracking by email addresses your application is sending mails to. When the same mail is booking with us, you receive your commission.

The more technology driven integration for cruise booking portals and similar sites is a project on it's own and you'll have own tech people we can work with.
